Positive: We liked the location and it was adequate for our needs.

Negative: First of all, there was no place to put our luggage-they need luggage stands or somewhere to out them besides the floor which made it very difficult to access our things. We had to put them on the couch and bed and keep moving them to use the couch and bed. The bed was very soft and extremely uncomfortable. Two of the main windows which would have provided airflow through the studio were blocked off (for some privacy from the main house I would assume) and made it very stuffy inside. There was no screen door for the front door and that would have allowed for some cross air flow. The wifi never worked which was very disappointing -the only feedback from the owner on that issue was “it works when I use it”. All in all we thought it was a good location -but there is a school next to it so we are not sure how the noise level would be when school is in session. Also, the carport is right behind the studio where the bed is located so when a car pulls up from the main house it is noisy. Overall it seems a bit pricey for what you get.

Summary: It provided us with a very good location but it needs some upgrades and attention to details.

Negative: the floor was sandy when we got there and there was not broom to sweep it up. That's really the only problem. We had to wear socks or keep brushing off our feet.

Negative: Loved the cottage but just A few roaches (to be expected in hawaii ) and no AC. We managed sleeping comfortably though at night (cooled down) with 2 big fans and ceiling fan.
