Positive: Very accommodating. I did the jungle trek and night time trek and had an amazing time on both. Obiwan is a great host and looked after me very well. Especially as a young solo traveller with just 36 hours in Bukit Luwang!

Positive: Smooth communication via Whatsapp about the jungle tour and transport from Medan to the accommodation. Nice location, close to restaurants and shops, nice view of the river. Delicious food, but especially the friendly people who work there made this an unforgettable experience for us. The guides during the jungle tour were very skilled, attentive and patient.

Positive: We had a great family stay. The personnel was very kind, the room was spacious and had a nice view. We did not eat at their place (went to other restaurants) but we did a jungle trek with them. We had an amazing guide who helped us carry in the jungle our 2-year old child. The 2-day trek was adapted to our family needs. We also used laundry and massage services recommended by the owner. All was perfect.

Positive: Great location on the edge of Bukit Lawang, so it’s quieter than some others. We loved the covered seating area just above the river looking across to the jungle, excellent for looking for wildlife. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, good food. Guide & assistant for our trek were great - genuine, helpful, knowledgeable and we could see they take care of the environment.

Positive: Lovely place along the river. Beautiful surroundings, overlooking the jungle. The hike we did was absolutely amazing, we saw lots of monkeys and orang utan. Although it was physically challenging. Make sure you have good shoes and are bit fit! All the people are just so friendly and forthcoming,really lovely.

Negative: Our room was really nice (deluxe), our kids slept in the normal room, which was warm, and a lot of noises from the street and the monkeys.

Positive: Obiwan and the rest of the staff were great. Room was comfortable and clean. One day jungle trek was amazing and we were lucky enough to see lots of orangutans.
