Summary: This was our second year at Howgills House and we have already booked for next year. What can I say, the house is beautiful and luxurious, but what really make it if the wonderful countryside views. Sitting in the hot tub watching the lambs gambling in the adjoining field is wonderful. The staff have thought of everything and it’s the small touches that make it special. We had amazing weather this year, so made good use of the outdoor seating, BBQ, pizza oven and outdoor fridge. For large groups looking for a bit of luxury in the countryside, this place is a must.

Summary: Beautiful property and very friendly management team. All services and facilities you could possibly need onsite and help at hand if needed. The hot tub and bar were very special touches. My husband had a wonderful birthday and the whole group loved the house.

Summary: Brilliant house for our 3 day work trip. Clear communication from the start of the booking process, very helpful and informative. The house is perfectly equipped for large groups, all the rooms are comfortable and the outside area is great fun with incredible views. We look forward to returning next year!!

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at Howgills house for my friends hen do. The place was absolutely perfect, it had everything we could have needed and more and was immaculate! Communication with the team was brilliant throughout, from booking to arrival. The owner popped over a couple of times during our stay to make sure everything was okay which was much appreciated. Would 100% stay here again and would recommend it to all friends and family. Thank you Howgills for the best weekend for our friends hen do, all of the hens had an amazing stay :D
