Positive: We had a wonderful four-night family stay with our two teenage children. The location is beautiful, with well-kept grounds, and the property was extremely clean. It’s a great base for exploring the Lake District, and it was lovely to return to such a welcoming place each evening. There are also some great local walks straight from the property. Fiona and Mark were excellent hosts – thank you for a fantastic stay! We would definitely recommend.

Positive: Such a beautiful location and perfect for a relaxing getaway. They literally think of everything that you might need and leave you alone to respect your privacy Very clean and comfortable. You won’t regret booking.

Negative: The drive up and down the hill is a bit scary but to be expected in the lake district and just gave the opportunity for more beautiful views.
