The "Vagabond" is a remodeled 50' houseboat docked at Badgers Island Marina located in Kittery, ME on the Piscataqua River.
The houseboat features a queen bed in both bedrooms as well as a queen pullout sofa. The Master bath has a head and sink while the Main bath has a shower, head and sink. The Galley features a refrigerator, sink, electric stovetop and microwave oven as well as a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans and a full set of dishware/utensils.
Also in the Galley is a dinette with seating for 4 as well as the bartop that has seating for 2.
In the salon is a sofa, 32" flat screen TV and wireless speaker.
On top of the houseboat is a beautiful outside deck where you can enjoy your view of the river while dining at the patio table that offers seating for 4.
On site at the marina is a washroom facility with 2 full bathrooms and coin operated washer and dryer units.
On the marina’s pier there is a full sized grill, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, etc…
Ice is available for purchase and there is free parking.
All linens and towels are provided for a $40 fee.
No smoking is allowed at any time on the boat, including the outside decks.
No Pets are allowed - No Exceptions

Summary: Such a very peaceful, quiet, restful stay! Vagabond is just the right size for one to 4 people. I had it all to mysrlf and loved watching boats go by from the awesome top deck! What views! What entertainment watching the draw bridges rise up to let a big barge go through. The boat is very clean, neat, tidy and has everything you need for cooking, and wifi and TV, streaming. I cant wait to go back again!

Summary: This time of year the marina was extremely quiet and peaceful which was exactly what I was looking for. The property was spotless, cutely minimally decorated and updated and had everything I needed for my two night stay. I hope to return next year.

Summary: ABSOLUTELY fabulous. The location was PERFECT. We walked to everything in Kittery and Portsmouth. The folks at the marina could not have been nicer. They made us feel right at home. Suzanne was an AMAZING HOST. We highly recommended the boathouse and when you're sitting on the rooftop deck you will know you made the Best decision.

Summary: Everything was as stated in the listing, Suzanne explained everything well and the dock masters were very friendly and helpful. We had all kinds of weather and the boat did great including direct winds and rain during a thunderstorm. I recommend it to everyone.

Summary: We rented this houseboat for two nights in early August and cannot say enough about how wonderful it was! Clean, easy to access, super comfortable, and secure - both my husband and I, along with our two sons, really enjoyed ourselves. We spent a lot of time in Portsmouth, tooling around the old town and eating and shopping. We also explored Kittery and the wonderful lobster shacks there. Absolutely unforgettable!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay on the houseboat. The views from the top deck were great. The deck furniture was very comfortable. It is an easy walk to the towns of Kittery and Portsmouth where there are lots of fun shops and restaurants.
