10 km from the city center of Aix en provence and 2 km from the village of vauvenargues. 35 km from Marseille. Bus nearby.The first beaches are 30 km.
Places to visit, The creeks of cassis, The Mucem in Marseille, The Granet museum in Aix en Provence .The wine route. Aix is a very nice city where you can stroll in all tranquility. We can recommend restaurants in Aix en Provence.
You will find at 50 M of the house the restaurant the Guard. Very nice atmosphere with an exceptional sight.

The owners are on site. But we are very discreet people. We have been renting for many years and this has never been a problem. On the contrary, we have met our customers.

Summary: Irene is the perfect host par excellence! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left she went above and beyond to make our stay such a delightful one. The house is beautifully situated just outside Aix en Provence in a quiet, tranquil setting overlooking Mont St. Victoire and the valley below. The house is charming, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need for an extended stay. My husband and I like to shop fresh and cook which was a delight. The terrace has a table and chairs for dining as well as a sitting area for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening to watch the lighting on the mountains change moment to moment. We did not want to leave! There are countless beautiful little medieval villages within easy driving distance and of course the market in Aix is incredible. Irene knows the area well and helped us make decisions about dining, shopping and the many attractions in the area including nearby Lac du Bimont. The owners have a lovely home close by with a very inviting and refreshing pool that we really enjoyed. The gardens surrounding the house are beautifully maintained. The wisteria cover over the terrace, the bougainvillia, roses, countless other flowers, fig and olive trees complete the idyllic setting. We have only high praise for this VRBO! If you would like a picturesque, peaceful, and relaxing holiday, this is the perfect place to be.Thank you Irene for a dream of a week, Suzanne &J

Summary: The house was nice and had all needed facilities. The view from the garden is great. We enjoyed to sit there at the evenings. The pool was shared with the owners, but it didn’t bother us. Our children liked to play in the pool with Irène ‘s children. Irène was a friendly host.
