Positive: Lots of space and beautiful gardens with various places to sit and enjoy the stunning location. Pool area was lovely and we felt safe with the excellent safety alarm. We loved the personal touches from the owner.

Negative: Lack of airconditioning in the bedrooms - it took us a few days to get used to ‘cooling’ the rooms in the evening. The pool area could have benefited from a couple of parasols.

Summary: We loved the house, the setting and the location, it’s a-great place for a family young and old!

Positive: This is an absolutely superb vacation property in all respects. The grounds, including lawns, gardens, and the pool area are spacious. The whole setting is serene and restful with a rural feel. At the same time, the house is located a few short minutes by car from the bustling town of Aix with its multiple attractions for visitors. The home itself is also five-star with high-end furnishings and decorative features. The owner is attentive and responsive to every query. The property was ample and comfortable for our group of seven with charming varanda areas to choose from.

Negative: In all honesty, nothing in the home or property was short of our expectations, in fact, beyond expectations.

Summary: This was exactly the type of property we wanted for our one-week stay in Provence. A beautiful home

Positive: The house is so private and the gardens and pool areas are extremely beautiful. The house has been beautifully renovated and is spotless. The gardens have multiple charming spots in which to relax, eat, doze, watch the sun set, sunbathe and generally recharge depleted batteries.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like. If you are looking for air conditioning, you will be disappointed but there are ceiling fans and if you open and close shutters, windows and doors as and when advised by the note the owner leaves, the house remains cool. Not every bedroom is en suite but there are plenty of bathroom and toilet facilities for a family group or a group of friends to share easily.

Summary: We found the property exceeded our expectations and our stay was idyllic.

Positive: We don't use "exceptional" often or likely, but this property is exceptional. The host is delightful, the grounds are peaceful and beautiful, and the close proximity to Aix-en-Provence can't be beat. We have told and will continue to tell others about this gem and plan to stay here again at our first opportunity. Our extended family was speechless from our photos of the flowers around the house. Don't miss it!
