Positive: The people and the atmosphere in the bar. Wonderful. This is why scotland is so nice to travel.

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay here! The property is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and with amazing sea views. Our room was big and very comfortable with a modern bathroom. They provided a cot for our baby, plus a very lovely welcome bag of treats, bowls and bed for our dog. The staff were wonderful, and we loved going to the pub out the back of the hotel for drinks and dinner. Food was really good, both the pub dinners and the hotel breakfasts.

Negative: Only one small negative mark was that the loo in our bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. Very likely just an oversight as the rest of the room was very clean, but it wasn’t the best welcome.

Summary: Absolutely loved this hotel, we will return!

Positive: Good location and truly beautiful, breathtaking views. We drove around the island but found the view out our window one of the most stunning.

Negative: It’s very worn and grandma chic. We had to put our jackets around the door frame because the draft coming in was so bad. Beds were not comfortable and we were traveling with kids during the holidays with limited restaurants and/or eating options, a fridge and a microwave in room would have been ideal.

Summary: Sweet little hotel in need of upgrades for the price.

Positive: The location was stunning, the staff were lovely lovely and the room was excellent- despite a powercut we had the best time The breakfast was brilliant and everyone was really friendly. We really appreciated your use of Gàidhlig, especially on the doors & the word of the moment at reception was a nice touch.

Summary: I was travelling for work but the location and staff made it feel like a holiday.
