Summary: Great old boutique hotel overlooking the fjord in Aurlandsfjord, Norway. After standing in lines and being surrounded by tourists in other cities, Aurlandsfjord was a wonderful, quiet break from the crowds. It was easy to step outside the hotel and explore the small area or take a walk along the fjord. For our fjord tour, we were picked up right at the shore, just a short walk from the hotel, which was very convenient. We stayed on the fourth floor, which was only accessible by stairs after taking the elevator to the second floor (then two additional flights). This wasn’t an issue or a deal breaker for either my wife or me. The dining room was a highlight of our stay, both for dinner and breakfast. The food was very good, with beautiful views of the fjord, a great atmosphere, and attentive service. It could not have been a better experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel when visiting Aurlandsfjord.

Summary: Super charming hotel, and great restaurant. Our room was nice and spacious, but nothing spectacular. If possible, I'd splurge on one of the rooms with a propper fjord view :-) only down side for us, was no available park spots at the hotel when we arrived.

Summary: One of the best hotel experiences I have had and I travel the world a majority of the year for pleasure. The fastest check in I have ever had and they knew who I was as soon as I walked in the door. The team was really helpful in choosing the right hike for the following day. Your staff is one of the best I have had the pleaure of meeting and I know that they must have a great amnager / owner to have everyone perfoming at 100% . Not to mention the Norweigen waffle were the best I have ever had.

Summary: Receptionist was directly rude in communication and not willing to find solutions. We also overheard her speak badly about us to other staff members on our second day. As a local hotel at this price range hospitality should be a priority, but it unfortunately it was not. With that said: hotel is nice and at a fantastic location. Just sad the staff is not delivering what this hotel has the potential to.

Summary: Beautiful quiet and peaceful hotel. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the smoked salmon Benedict. Dinner was good also. The staff were kind and helpful. This place is a hidden gem close to Flåm.

Summary: This was a perfect place to stay. It was away from the tourists in Flåm and very quiet. Beautiful scenery, close to a grocery store, sauna close by and they have amazing food! They were able to accommodate a peanut allergy at their restaurant which was also amazing.
