Positive: The location is near bus stop that would take you to a subway station to the city and Trader Joe’s. The staff are very friendly and accommodating (especially Nicol and Areceli). They let us check in early which helped us to enjoy more our trip to the city. There’s gym in the location, free breakfast, 24hr coffee/tea. They can store your luggage if you want to check out early and still have time to go explore the city before leaving.

Negative: Nothing! Great location all in all!

Positive: I loved having such a nice large room with all the modern amenities. I also chose a room with a view of the NYC skyline, which was REALLY cool! Also, breakfast was good! Eggs, sausage, biscuits, yogurt, cereal, etc.Pleasantly

Negative: Only thing I didn’t like is the location. The hotel seems like it’s located in a rather rundown industrial area. It’s only about 6-8 blocks to the subway, so I could walk it but it was FREEZING out. When I got back at night, I called uber to pick me up from the subway station. No way was I walking back in the dark, ice and snow everywhere, in the darkness, alone and the area very deserted.

Summary: I was pleasantly surprised that the amenities were so nice, and I hope I get to stay again

Positive: All the amenities were great. The room was nice and clean, the free breakfast and spacious dining area was great to start the day, the staff were friendly, and I appreciated the free shuttle to the Vernon and Jackson train station to take the subway to Manhattan since there wasn't a whole lot of nearby public transportation.

Negative: I think the main issues for me were the location and the somewhat lack of nearby public transportation. The hotel location is pretty far from the main Long Island City area that I was hoping to be closer to, and the surrounding area is pretty industrial and barren of restaurant and stores. There was one bus stop a few minutes away that I could take the Q67 MTA, but that was running infrequently and the next nearest bus stop or train station after that was at least a 15-20 min walk away.

Summary: Overall this was a great hotel that have great amenities and friendly staff.
