Positive: I recently stayed at the HK Resort in Sokcho, which is conveniently located near the entrance to the Seoraksan National Park. The room was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay: a full kitchen (gas stove, refrigerator, sink, and dishes), and a good bed in the bedroom. Everything was very clean. There is a convenience store and a bus stop nearby.

Summary: I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area.

Positive: The location is fantastic for visiting and hiking the mountain. It’s close to Sokcho as well, so if you need to get to town, it’s 10min away by car. We visited during winter, the rooms were warm and cozy and the scenery all around spectacular.

Negative: There isn’t enough parking. Our room had difficulty getting hot water from the shower/tub. The sink and kitchen had scorching water, only the tub/shower seemed to have an issue. The double bed is warm, but the mattress could be more comfy.

Positive: Location is very good. Except the most expensive place (kenshington) just beside the mountain, this is the closest option. Location is very much important to visit Sellok mountain, since at maple season, there are too many pple so that you cannot ride a car to reach the mountain. All staffs was kind Clean. not a OCD level clen but clean.

Negative: I think this is quite expensive considering the facility neat but old, 90's vibe. room was very small. there was no view. but... I have to admit this area has same problem. (expansivier than facility) it's seasonal business.
