Positive: Serene location outside of busy touristic places. Absolutely lovely host, friendly and supportive. It is located between nature, glorious and calm at the same time. Bathroom without walls adds the charm and you feel yourself indeed in heaven. Great place to slow down and recover after busy life.

Positive: It feels like heaven :) if you want to experience an authentic jungle/ rain forest stay, you are right here. The silence is only interrupted by the noises of the animals. The view of the infinity pool is breathtaking. The accommodation is in bungalows with outside baths. Very nice and authentic. Not luxurious which is also not expected. We stayed 3 days, 2 days chilling and charging our social batteries and 1 day we rented a motorbike. You can drive 1h with very nice views to Lake Batur and visit the hot springs. Perfect day trip. Also recommended: order the slow cooked duck for dinner 1 day in advance.

Negative: No air-conditioning: from temperature point of view this is not a problem because temperature drops to 18 degrees at night. But it was difficult to get things dry. On the plus side: it's soooo calm at night. We enjoyed that a lot.

Positive: The beauty and the quite of the area helped me truly relax after a hard week of studying. It’s a bit off the main road - far enough to hear nothing but birds, close enough to not get lost. The staff of the hotel are amazing: very helpful and kind. I felt welcomed. Food was delicious (not big portions though). I enjoyed massage with Koman (sorry if the name is not spelled correctly) and stargazing at night.

Negative: The pool water is too cold, very cold, much colder than comfortable

Positive: Location overviewing the valley is magical. The rooms were spacious with a outdoor bathroom. Because the higher altitude the temperature is nice to sleep without airco. The people there were so friendly and always ready to help.

Positive: Gorgeous, quiet property operated and loved by enthusiastic, friendly people. The pool and the view over the jungle are incredible. The food is great. IT was hard to leave the property for hikes or our next destination. Great value all around.

Negative: Our room was a little dark and small compared to the one we reserved but it was fine and more private than a couple of the bigger rooms. Be careful if you reserve a sunrise hike or a scooter through the hotel. No one showed for our 3am hike and the scooter had bad brakes -- neither was the owners' fault but ask questions!
