Positive: The property was in a location that allowed us to connect with the unspoilt nature of the Isle of Skye, but what will truly impress you is the service offered by the two owners, Jacqueline and Ian. Ian was the perfect host from the very beginning: he even helped us carry our luggage to the room, a gesture that has almost completely disappeared in most B&Bs and guesthouses nowadays. He was kind, attentive, and always available. Jacqueline was simply delightful, she’s like an Italian nonna (although, it must be said, she is MUCH younger!). She makes sure you are properly looked after and well-fed. My boyfriend enjoyed a colossal breakfast with top-quality products, including a platter of cold cuts, cheeses, and fresh fruit. As for me, I had the best porridge of my life. You won’t find a better place along your journey – this B&B is a rare gem.

Positive: Everything! The room was exquisite, the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and high quality food, seated overlooking the mountains. Extremely clean and well maintained. Hosts interesting and willing to impart local knowledge and interact with guests if desired, otherwise happy to maintain a professional distance. So happy to have stayed and met Ian and Jacqui.

Negative: Nothing. Our hosts went above and beyond, even taxiing us to and from a local restaurant, and providing heaps of invaluable local knowledge. Would visit again in a heart beat.
