Summary: This was a perfect cottage rental for a family of 4 on the western part of Skye. The home is situated on a hill overlooking the western shores of the island and has beautiful sunset views. The interior is super cute and cosy with plenty of space to relax. Bathrooms are large and updated with hot water at all times and the kitchen plus dining room are roomy as well. My family loved cozying up near the fire in the living room while watching the sun set. The cottage is located in a small community, so there are some other homes nearby, but we still felt tons of privacy and enjoyed being away from the hordes that can descend on the island. You’ll have to deal with a one lane road (with pull-outs) to get to the cottage, buts that’s pretty much status who for anything worthwhile on this beautiful island. To be warned, although internet is available it can be very patchy at times, which is expected based on the location. Host was super responsive and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We had a great 4 days at Dunhallin Ard, the location is great with stunning views whatever the weather. It is quite remote but that just adds to the experience. It is very cosy with a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds.

Summary: Lovely cottage with stunning views of the loch and the islands. We even had a couple of small deer visit us that we watched from the kitchen and bedrooms windows. The lounge was so cosy and a great place to relax in after a day exploring the island. Spacious kitchen with everything you could need. Very clean and comfortable. Would also highly recommend the tannery tour at Skye Skyns and dinner at The Dunvegan!

Summary: We stayed at this amazing VRBO property and loved every day we were there. We wish we had stayed longer ! The house itself is perfection and so comfortable. The location is amazing.....about 30 min from Portree and in an off the beaton path location which is Heavan. The views are amazing. The welcome information was all on a digital screen which was really clever. We loved every day here and will return one day ! Barb and Dan

Summary: Honestly couldn't recommend this property any higher. All of us loved our stay, unfortunately it had to come to an end after a very comfortable 4 nights Very close to Loch Bay if you're wanting to dine there (I couldn't quite convince my mam to book dinner for 6 there) and Dunvegan. But really not that far to the main sights on the isle at all. Lovely part of Skye Many, many thanks for having us.

Summary: The property is as advertised. They reach out via email a view days prior on how to check in and the gpa location which was extremely helpful. Wifi was so so but good enough for what you need. Beautiful area and got the much needed rest and relaxation.
