Positive: The location is just about perfect. You are in old town but not next to the craziness of the lake area. Easy walk to get there as well as anywhere in old town. Breakfast is included and good with eggs, omelets etc. to order. The biggest plus to the property is the staff and exceptional Spa on site. Everyone is extremely pleasant and the front desk staff including, Tiffany, Elsa, Anthony, and Andrew. They made recommendations and arrangements that were spot on. Always making sure everything went perfectly. We had 13 people and everyone was very pleased with our experience at this hotel.

Negative: Not really much, it is an older hotel, some rooms are better appointed than others and include street balcony’s snd views.

Positive: We really appreciated the service from the front reception staff, (Elsa and Tiffany) and Victor (?) the porter. We were quickly greeted, given a nice drink and our bags brought to our room. Breakfast was very good and offered a variety of Vietnamese food. Dinner at their restaurant was also very good (we had the Pho).

Negative: Only two electrical outlets (one next to the bed and one in the bathroom). The staff did offer the use of multi pack (nice offer).

Positive: Our recent stay was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is in a terrific position and we walked around the streets enjoying the sights and atmosphere. The night market is very close. We ate in the Bell Pepper restaurant was of a very high standard. All the staff we encountered were friendly and extremely helpful. Special mention must be made of Tiffany. She looked after us and resolved any questions promptly. She is an asset to the establishment. We will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Hanoi.

Positive: Just left this hotel and have to say it’s every bit as good as the reviews state. I don’t usually post a review unless I go somewhere exceptional or somewhere not great to warn other travellers. This place is worthy of the exceptional category. Right in the middle of the old quarter which is a bit daunting when you first arrive. More like a boutique hotel as the service is very personal. Antony who looked after us on arrival was fantastic and greeted you by name every time he saw us.The room was great and if you feel like treating yourself go for one of the suites with a balcony it’s a great chill out spot. Air con, WiFi all top notch and most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for years.If this place was in London it would be ten times the price and they would be able to reproduce the service levels.

Positive: A solid choice for a hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Our room was at the back of the hotel and very quiet (they actually upgraded us to a larger room than we had booked). The service level is super high - very friendly, professional and helpful staff. They decorated my room for my friend birthday which was lovely. I got a foot massage at the spa which was nice and they have a nice restaurant with a happy hour deal. Overall good value for money, I’m happy with our choice to stay there.
