Positive: This rental was very clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked. We loved that there were beach chairs and beach towels for use also. We were very comfortable and happy there! The location is several miles beyond Hanalei, but the drive is gorgeous!

Negative: The drive at night is a little harrowing. The location is a far drive from many key sites in Kauai.

Negative: Couches not comfortable. Construction/painting going on, but understand the need for upkeep.

Positive: Amazing location!!! Peaceful environment. Spacious unit.

Negative: Too many redundant, overly verbose, and sometimes conflicting messages coming from both the resort directly and booking.com. Excessive reminders about rules and restrictions when staying here. It felt like they thought I was just released from prison, had a hard time reading, and was planning to burn down a billion dollar estate. Bathrooms were in very worn condition, and most of the furniture was uncomfortable.

Summary: Amazing Location. Unit could use some TLC. Arduous communication before check-in.

Positive: very close to Haena. we chose to stay here to be able to go to Haena beach. The peace and quiet was superb! The pool area was beautiful.

Positive: Room was lovely, very breezy if you leave all doors and windows open and the tradewinds are blowing. Hanalei Day Spa is on site, and hubby had a great massage. Pool and grill area are beautiful. Very quiet, calm and peaceful. No chickens crowing!

Negative: There were no dish towels or oven mitts in the kitchen. The ceiling fans need to be replaced, the current ones do not give off enough airflow. Provided was one pump bottle of hand soap in the kitchen and no soap in either bathroom. Make sure you bring your toiletries.
