The Sea Turtle Cottage is a stand alone luxury jungle cottage located on the far north shore of Kauai It has beautiful unobstructed views of the mountains, jungle and Wainiha valley.
The space
The Sea Turtle Cottage is a guest cottage situated on landscaped acreage with about 4000 acres of uninhabited conservation rainforest surrounding it. The cottage is built onto a hillside and offers amazing views of the Jungle and Mountain ranges. It is at the end of a country lane about 1/4 mile from the main road that runs alongside the north shore beaches. Wainiha beach and a small corner grocery store hub are at the end of our street. The cottage is designed for guests to have the rare experience of the exotic jungles of old Kauai. You can hear the river below, the ocean and the sounds of jungle birds, and you can't hear any traffic noise which is really nice. The cottage is equipped with all the necessary amenities for a super comfy and convenient stay. It is 3 miles from Hanalei town and about 2 miles from the famous kalalau trail and Ke'e and Tunnels beaches. The owner lives in a separate cottage on the property and is available to assist with island plans , questions and issues that may arise.

Summary: Wonderful stay. Limitless hot water in Tempe out door shower. The view from the deck is amazing! Don’t miss this one! There is a washer dryer available that is very close.

Summary: Kai Honu is tucked back in the jungle of Hanalei at the end of a dirt road. This tiny cottage is simple and cozy with a lanai facing the glorious peaks and cliffs of ancient volcanic mountains. Watching the stars set over the ridge became a nightly gift. I look forward to returning to this beautiful place

Summary: We booked this place as part of our honeymoon and it was one of the best stays we've ever had! Gorgeous setting in the rainforest, so peaceful hearing all the insects and birds, even the rain at night! Dawn was really friendly and we very much appreciated all the thoughtful extras in the cottage such as beach towels and being able to do laundry.Perfectly situated near beaches, hiking trails and Hanalei which has a lovely market and plenty of shops, restaurants etc. would absolutely recommend this stay!
