Positive: The rooms are big and nice. We heard that the building is quite old. As we travelled in the monsoons, the rooms felt damp but it was expected due to the season. If you are allergic to monsoon dampness, then watch out !

Positive: Dinner and breakfast was awesome Malenadu specialties. We really liked having delicious homemade breakfast, coffee amidst the beautiful surroundings. Owner of the property also interacted with us and enquired if everything was fine. Staff was courteous and helpful. Bathroom was clean. The best thing we liked about this property is it's beautiful surroundings, the forest trail, which is within their premises. We went for a walk in the jungle and enjoyed every bit of it. There are all sorts of trees and plants, lots of jackfruit trees, and birds chirping. It is a safe jungle walk which we thoroughly enjoyed. We also bought pepper, coffee powder (grown there) and masala packets from them. Overall, we had a memorable and superb experience at Guddadamane!

Negative: Room could have been cleaned better, like the carpet, paintings and furniture. Some dust could be seen on these. Rest everything was exceeding expectations, so we really did not mind it much. Points to note - Vodafone network was not good. Not sure about other network providers. Better to download offline map before travelling back. This place is far from the city and we travelled before sunset, and road was good and scenic. Better to reach before night, as it is far and there were hardly any vehicles on road.
