Do you fancy a house a little bit quirky & different to mainstream conventional properties?

Our delightful, self-contained, 2-storey holiday house ("A Shack" in local Tasmanian!) fronts on to Bass Strait and is available for your sole occupancy. It is in the perfect location for a wonderful, relaxing and “always remembered”holiday, break or retreat. It is ideal for adult couples and small families requiring peace and solitude in beautiful surroundings.

Everything you will need is provided, so enjoy, relax & explore. We are less than a minute's walk to a magnificent safe beach, playground & general store/take away/coffee shop with adjacent tennis courts, golf course & club house.

To preserve this environment we do have a "No Party" policy and no smoking is permitted inside the house. Thank you for your consideration and acceptance.

The house is particularly suitable for golfers and you can view the course from the balcony as it is virtually on Greens Beach Golf Course. Watch out for the rare escapee golf ball!

The property is not fenced so children need to be supervised.

The pristine beach is family friendly as it is shallow at high tide for quite some distance. There are also rock pools to explore and picnic areas beside the beach. Narawntapu National Park is 2 km away by road (5 min in a car) or there is a signposted walking trail along the coast line to West Head which connects to National Park trails such as the Bakers Beach trail.

Beauty Point is a 15-minute drive away where you can visit Platypus House and Seahorse World. There are many other great attractions close by, including Beaconsfield Gold Mine and Museum, craft breweries and wineries making Greens Beach an ideal base to tour Northern Tasmania.

The antique espresso coffee machine is not connected but a modern espresso coffee making machine is available.

Main bedroom is upstairs, overlooking beach & golf course and has a queen bed.
There are 13 steps up which may not be suitable for some. Also there are 2 steps into the bath/shower (see photo).

Second bedroom on ground floor has 2 single beds which convert to a queen size bed when necessary. Please advise your childrens' ages as there is a travel cot available for young ones.

Good quality linen, doonas/duvets, blankets & towels are provided.

All you need to bring is yourselves, your food & drinks and any special personal requirements etc!
