Summary: Pittsfield is extremely limited in their housing options and Green Acres is probably the best option. It can’t live up to big city standards and I understand that!

Summary: New owner tried to check me in. He couldn't do it. He also told me I couldn't have a room on the second floor "because they are all suites". When I told him I had stayed there over 100 times before, all on the second floor, and none of them were suites, he then said they were all full. There were a total of four cars in the parking lot, so I think he was lying. A long-time employee then came and found my reservation so I could get checked in. I'm afraid this long-time favorite of many Pike County visitors is going to go downhill fast under this new ownership. Beware, travelers, this isn't the Green Acres you are used to staying in. You may not like the changes.

Summary: Have stayed at Green Acres on and off for 50+ years. New building was a huge improvement. Breakfast option during the middle of the week at Hooterville across the parking lot was very nice.

Summary: This was a nice room! The complimentary breakfast was at their cafe on property 5 days a week ( not Sunday or Monday)! The food was cooked to order and had a large breakfast menu! Highly recommend!
