This gorgeous, light & peaceful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom loft apartment is located in a Grade 1 listed Georgian building on a wide, pedestrianised street. Duke Street is an ideal location for all your city needs with all the sights of Bath within easy reach. Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths & Bath’s many delightful shops are a short stroll from the apartment & Bath Rugby’s ground is a mere 2 minutes walk along the river towards Pulteney Bridge. In addition, there are many fabulous restaurants on your doorstep including the acclaimed 'Sotto Sotto’ on North Parade. When you return for the day you'll be able to put up your feet & gaze at the glorious view of Bathwick Hill & the distant Sham Castle to relax & rejuvenate before the next day.
To help with that home to home feeling there is free Wifi, coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer & the comfiest beds we could find. A highchair, cot or extra single bed can be also provided on request. In addition a widescreen TV & DVD player with DVDs of some of the many films shot in Bath over the years are waiting for you.
If you fancy some exercise, Bath Leisure Centre with a pool, gym & exercise classes is a hop and a skip over North Parade Bridge. Whilst for those fresh air fiends, the canal can be easily accessed for walks/runs/cycle to Bathampton (3 miles) & beyond. Bikes can be hired locally or you can bring your own & keep them in Georgian House's basement bike store (please bring your own lock). The canal is also a lovely way to walk to the Holburne Museum.
Georgian House is an amalgamation of three Georgian townhouses & has retained its grand feature staircase from its hotel past. Whilst walking up the wide, shallow steps is different from your usual Georgian building, this apartment is on the 3rd floor. The 1930's lift is there for those who'd like to use it & is very handy when you have heavy suitcases.
A 5 minute level walk from Bath Spa Train & Bus Station, public transport is the best way to visit Bath. If however you need to bring your car Georgian House is very close to three multi-day stay car parks.

Summary: This amazing apartment exceeded all of our expectations. It is incredibly well-located for every purpose, very quiet on a pedestrianized street but just a few minutes' walk away from the Abbey and Baths and the train station. The sunny rooms are even prettier than in the pictures, and the views out of the tall windows over the river, cricket pitch, and park area are just lovely. The bedrooms are large, the beds are really comfortable, and the bathrooms are modern and attractive. The eat-in kitchen is bright and airy and very well-equipped, the living room is spacious and bright. There's a washer and dryer in a separate laundry room (we didn't use them). The elevator is handy for reaching the third floor, but we always used the wide open staircases when we went out for the day. I was there with a friend, and we found it charming and completely comfortable, each with her own space but with lovely breakfasts in the kitchen (the table has four seats, with a bench that could seat two more) and end-of-day relaxation in the living room. Rachel was an excellent communicator throughout, with clear instructions and information. I would absolutely stay here again, and I highly recommend this apartment for friends, two couples, or a family--it is very kid-friendly in its design and equipment. A really wonderful place!

Summary: The apartment was lovely. It had everything we needed , easy to find as we drove into Bath ( using Google maps on CarPlay) and was in a perfect location. Manvers Street Carpark was so close and easy to access. We were lucky and found a carspace in S Parade and could unload our luggage. .

Summary: You could not ask for a more central location! We loved the character of the building and the home itself! The entire apartment was filled with references to the building and the local area. The host provided ideas for walks (which we loved) and things to do. An amazing place to visit and an amazing home to stay in.

Summary: Cannot recommend highly enough. Great location, well presented, excellent size. Lift is a little quirky but you soon get the hang of it. We (5 tall adults) wish we had booked it for longer as was one of the most comfortable places we stayed in our 6 week round-the-world trip.
