Summary: What a lovely place! I was a way with work and wanted a clean room and a good price. I got that, I loved that I could self-check in and just get to my room. The room is just what I needed, super clean, comfy bed and lovely decor. Thank you.

Summary: On arrival had incident in carpark resulting in damage to my car due to careless parking of laundry delivery driver, absolutely no interest from the owner except concern about his 1ft wall, was obnoxious and rude about checking in as I had not received email ref code to key box, he eventually did open the key box but initially it was very apparent he was not happy to do so. At no time were we welcomed or made to feel welcome. Room was clean and pleasant, unfortunately no evening meal available as does not provide a service Monday and Tuesday, I should have checked before booking, no hot breakfast for the same reason apparently, plenty of fruit available but minimal meat such as ham, I don’t know how many guests were staying but 4 slices in total is no where near enough. One individual pack of plain biscuits in room, I was there with family in a twin room. Overall not one smile, I have never felt so unwelcome and would never recommend or return even at half price it would now be worth it.

Summary: We arrived @ about 21.30pm, the self check in worked well, the instructions were clear & concise. The pub is closed on Sunday evenings, there was another couple sitting outside the pub, enjoying the evening air. Our room was clean & comfortable. Plenty of hanging space. The bathroom was clean & good thick fluffy towels. Tea/ coffee making facilities were adequate, only one packet of biscuits to share. The chilled complementary water was very welcome, as were the fans in the room, on a hot sultry evening. Breakfast was self service, there was an excellent choice of lovely fresh fruit, cheeses, salami, yogurt & a range of cereals. The bean to cup coffee machine was easy to operate. The only thing missing was a toaster for the lovely bread. I read the notice explaining the fire alarm issue. It was a successful stay, after visiting our nephew in Freshford. Thank you, we will be back.

Summary: The room and staff were great. Local bus service to get into Bath being just opposite the hotel was very useful. We arrived on the Sunday for a 2 day stay & were disappointed to find that we couldn’t get a meal. Sunday afternoon carvery was fully booked and Monday & Tuesday the hotel closes anyway for meals & drinks. By preference I would choose a Full English breakfast if that had been an option but having said that the Continental breakfast offered was plentiful and varied. Fred & Dian.

Summary: We had the best time at the Rose and Crown the staff were warm and friendly and the setting was just perfect.Bus stopped opposite to get to Bath so convenient.The food in the pub was excellent we had three couples with us and they all said how fantastic th food was.The rooms were absolutely pristine not a speck of dust bathroom was immaculate high praise for the cleaner.Breakfast was great plenty of choice.Definitely would go back here beautiful.

Summary: My wife and I had a great pit stop at Rose and Crown. Very clean and well maintained property. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in after a long day's travel and sightseeing. The self-serve continental breakfast was equally good. Highly recommend!

Summary: Great place to stay just outside Bath with an easy bus route into the City Centre opposite the Rose and Crown. The hosts were all friendly and helpful and the place was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good , a great choice of fresh tasty treats. We will stay again.
