Positive: The hotel rooms are very nice and large fans keep you relatively cool in the night. The balcony is lovely and has an awe inspiring view, and if you’re lucky you can have monkeys visit you.

Negative: Only thing that would improve the property would be air conditioning but hey you’re in the jungle

Positive: Gorgeous location, delicious food. Massive portion sizes were amazing for a person who eats a lot. Lovely staff, very helpful and very much enjoyed sitting and playing the guitar and singing which created a lovely ambience

Negative: We were told that someone working at the property would come and meet us and someone did, helping us carry some bags. Although, once we’d arrived and checked in he told us that he didn’t actually work for the hotel and wanted money. We paid as it was a tiny amount but we were disappointed that we weren’t told the truth.

Positive: I normally almost never write reviews but this place and its people really deserve some praise! Such a beautiful place to stay situated right at the riverfront next to the jungle. All the people working there make you feel right at home and can help you arrange everything surrounding trekking in the national park. All the guides working there are very knowledgeable about the jungle and wildlife. I had a blast doing a three day trek with guides Rudi, Jerry and Ipan.

Positive: Room is cottage vibes with a unique bathroom. Staff were SUPERB. Food portion is huge, and delicious! Booked a 2D1N trip with them and i had a great time exploring the jungle. Shout out to Zuhri, Jerry and Mawan for being funny, knowledgeable and attentive during the trek. And we had the best dinner anyone could have in the jungle 😭 They were really quick to respond when there was a spider (or two) in our toilet and helped evacuate the scary creature in no time. So yes, stay here and book your trip through them!

Positive: We stayed at Garden Inn for four nights, and they were unforgettable. The room was beautiful, designed in a natural style—a combination of stone and wood, which is exactly what it should be since we were in the jungle. It had a very lovely and cozy atmosphere, complete with a terrace. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was no hot water in the bathroom, but we came to the jungle—why would there be? Every evening, we had visitors—macaque monkeys who entertained us. On two nights, they used our terrace as their bedroom. They weren’t aggressive; on the contrary, our terrace became their playground, especially for the teenage monkeys. It was an amazing experience. We highly recommend it—if you want to be close to nature, Garden Inn is the perfect choice. The guys at the reception are absolute gems. They were always there to help and answer any questions or concerns. Big kudos to them—nothing could surprise or confuse them.

Negative: The only complaint is the breakfast—it should be improved, as it is too basic and simple
