Positive: So I think this property has been mischaracterized to some extent by a lot of reviews, and I'd like to be very clear about what to expect here and hopefully help you make an informed decision. It is NOT nearly as bad as some people here are making it out to be. Having said that, there are multiple units and I may have gotten luckier than others. Apartment was very spacious, even for a studio. Large sectional couch, king-size bed, plenty of room to move around, and a full dining space and kitchenette that has everything you need for your stay. Building is perfectly located, across the street from a metro station and lots of stuff to do around the area, very easy to walk to other parts of town. Great value for the location. Heating/AC and hot water were great, also great pressure on the water, no complaints there. Overall this is just a great place to stay

Negative: So I want to address some of the concerns I saw in other reviews and shed some light on those: Cleanliness: I didn't see a single issue here. Some items are worn down but that doesn't equate to dirty. The kitchen floor linoleum for example has seen better days, but it was clean. Building maintenance: This is definitely something that could improve, but at the same time caused no real inconveniences. There's some peeled paint, cracked switchplates, little things like that, but nothing that actually presented any problems. If you're expecting pristine conditions at this price point in a major urban center, you need to chill. Noise: I saw some people complain about this, and to be fair if you're not used to cities it might seem like a lot. My unit was a corner unit so I got the full force of the street at night, and while there are some idiots roaring down the street on their motorcycles here and there, I slept just fine. It's not a cottage in the woods. Safety: 100% fine, idk what some people here were talking about. I showed up after midnight multiple times with no issues, the area in general is fine. Really the only thing I'd say could improve here is just a bit of maintenance on the building in general.
