Positive: It’s a lovley place in a great lovely location , nice place overall , beds are really comfy and the rooms are nice

Negative: Our towels were dirty , unfortunately the serviettes on table were dirty stains on them. Unfortunately there was a power cut whist we were there and there was no back up plan for this or any form of apology for the inconvenience. They didn’t offer discount for this either. The breakfast table had rings of coffee stains on

Positive: The room was nice and quiet, good hot shower in the morning and delicious bar snacks served by friendly & attentive bar staff and delicious breakfast freshly made too.

Negative: The decor in the room seemed 'slap dash' in its finish & with window frames rotting. The bathroom condition although mostly clean, was incredibly disappointing for an 'upgraded to superior' room given there was dirty grout & old grout/glue to be seen throughout.

Summary: Nice enough but 'upgrade' was a bit over-sold

Positive: Great location with access to some wonderful walks. They were incredibly welcoming of our dog and he was made to feel very at home. Dog-friendly rooms very well located with quick access to garden.

Negative: Service best described as endearingly chaotic / friendly but variable. You’ll chase up a lot of missing desserts etc. Housekeeping wildly variable from day to day.
