Positive: Property location / onsite parking / high quality interior furnishings & equipment / detailed information provided for both the property and the locality.

Negative: Really just the level of noise generated by traffic using the B6306 adjacent to the property, which at bedtime our single-glazed bedroom window did little to ameliorate.

Positive: Beautifully decorated property with high quality finish - very thoughtful selection of appliances and household items - everything super clean and in good working order.

Negative: I think it is a bit tight for a 4x4 regarding the parking at the front but nearby parking is super easy.

Positive: Great location, right in the center of Hexham and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants

Negative: The only small thing was that we were in a big 4x4 car, it was tricky to get the car onto the allocated parking space in front of the house, but this is a very minor point as the property itself was lovely!

Positive: A very comfortable house in the centre of town. Well equipped and very clean. The house has one bathroom and 2 additional toilets and the layout was ideal for our family group of 2 children, parents and grandparents. The town centre with multiple shops and eateries was within a couple of minutes walk Highly recommended.

Negative: The parking space was a bit tight for our vehicle, but it was very easy to park in the free spaces of the public carpark.

Positive: This property is so lovely, the decor is very tasteful (exactly as pictured) and it’s so well thought out. Everything you’d need as a couple or family is there, and the location is great for a short walk into Hexham. The little outside space was a surprise too as I’d not noticed it had that when I booked and we had nice weather. We will definitely go back to Farriers Cottage in the future!

Negative: Literally the only thing I could fault was the bit of road noise on the morning (which of course the property can’t help- it’s right next to a road- not even a busy one- just one that people seem to use on a morning! it wouldn’t stop me going back at all though, I’d maybe just take some ear plugs next time as the place was worth it!

Summary: Lovely cottage - we’ll be back!
