Positive: Really immaculate property, incredibly spacious and open. Location is serene and you have some curious sheep for neighbours. Brilliant location if you want to have Kielder Lake on your doorstop and beautiful dark skies to appreciate the stars. The hosts provided some much appreciated scones for us to enjoy on our arrival. We enjoyed using the fire for one evening when it was cold. Incredible value for money and would love to return again. Their guestbook suggests we are not the only ones to think that. If you're looking for a property closer to Alnwick and other attractions, this is quite isolated and I would suggest looking at properties closer to the main road. For us, this was a positive as the property felt private and safe.
