Positive: We chose Fairview Manor as a stopover after landing in Johannesburg before heading to Welgevonden National Park, and it was the perfect choice. The location is highly convenient and feels very safe. The room was cozy with a great hot shower, the breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and nice. Highly recommended!
Negative: While it makes the place safe, the entry procedure at the gate is quite annoying. You have to show your ID, enter a PIN, etc. every single time you return, even if you just left for a quick moment.
Summary: Great stopover on the way to Welgevonden!

Positive: The location, the food, the service from staff and attentiveness from the host, 10/10!
Negative: Not by fault of the owner, however we had some guests that were inconsiderate by playing loud music, enough for us to hear while trying to rest at night in our room. Unfortunately because there is no one from the establishment on site, they could not be addressed and we just had to bare with it until they chose they have had enough. For me as a single mom travelling with a young boy it would not have been ideal to confront them as that would leave us vulnerable.

Positive: It is an amazing place to stay. Beautiful rooms, exceptional view on the Golf course, animals visiting early morning. The staff is wonderful, helpful and friendly. Thank you very much for everything, I will definitely book again.
