Villa Dias is located on the edge of the pretty village of Kaligata in the exclusive Livathos Region. It benefits from a large elevated garden site complete with shady olive and fruit trees and enjoys breathtaking views down to the Ionian Sea. Villa Dias has its own private infinity swimming pool (9m xx 5m) and is finished and furnished to the highest standard. It comprises two twin bedrooms and one double, all with luxury ensuite wetroom style bathrooms, and a large open plan living area with a modern fully equipped kitchen.
Covered terraces provide shaded areas from which to enjoy the beautifullylandscaped gardens and stunning view. We have designed Villa Dias to ensure that this beautiful uninterrupted view can be enjoyed from all bedrooms and the main living areas.

At present, out of season access is via Athens, with an internal flight (or ferry journey) to Kefalonia.
About Kefalonia: Kefalonia is the largest of the Ionian islands, unspoilt, very friendly, with a beautifully varied landscape.
The island's beaches offer something for everyone-sandy or pebbley, safe or wild, deserted coves or bustling, all with beautiful, clean azure seas. The beaches in the South of the island are generally sandy, and many are safe for swimming and provide excellent snorkelling.
If you need a bit more from your holiday than relaxing by the pool or beach then there are many places well worth visiting; villages such as Assos and the beautiful harbour of Fiscardo, virtually undamaged by the earthquake of 1953, the beautiful church of Agios Gerasimos, the Drogarti caves and Melissani Lake or a day trip to Ithaca.The dramatic Mount Ainos,1628m, and its surrounding National Park provides excellent walking opportunities, particularly in the spring and autumn, and is home to the island's native wild horses, eagles and osprey. The famous Robola vineyards are found in the nearby Omala Valley
Food and drink: Self catering on Kefalonia is a pleasure - the range and quality of fresh produce on the island is excellent. Local mini markets will provide essentials eg bread, fresh milk etc. For a bigger range Argostoli has daily fruit and veg markets with harbour front fish and meat also of a very high standard. In the main town there are a selection of food stores with a wider range of groceries including, if required, staples such as butter, baked beans and cheddar cheese! On each return to the island we enjoy revisiting favourite restaurants but can always discover a new gem. Numerous tavernas around the island offer simple grilled fresh fish and meat, pasta, salads and local dishes. In addition, particularly in Argostoli, there are more sophisticated restaurants to enjoy. Those with a passion for desserts will find many temptations in the island's patisseries.
For wine lovers there are several wineries on the island to visit and sample the local Robola grape.

Summary: One of the best villas we’ve ever stayed in. The property was immaculate, extremely well equipped and in a good location. The host was very helpful and communicative and the welcome pack on arrival was very gratefully received after a late flight arrival - thank you! They property clean wi to fresh bedding and towels half ways though our stay was great too. Great location - close to the airport and a great base to explore the beautiful island - a car is a must to make the most of everything!

Summary: This villa was perfect in every way, for our family ranging over 3 generations. Apart from buying food from a great little local shop, you didn’t need to leave the villa unless you wanted too.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in the villa, which was fully equipped with everything we needed. The villa was spotlessly clean and the mid-stay cleans great! The pool was perfect and the views simply amazing - I could never get tired of the wonderful sunsets every evening. We had a good mix of pool days, beach days and exploring the island days and would definitely recommend car hire. The information pack with directions to the villa was excellent and we had no problems finding it. The suggestions for places to visit etc were really useful and the local beaches of Avithos and Makris Gialos were our favourites. We even witnessed turtle eggs hatching on Avithos beach which was simply amazing! Kefalonia is a beautiful island and we hope to return again one day. Thank you.

Summary: Such a lovely Villa with breathtaking views, everything you could need was there ….lovely beaches nearby and fab tavernas , we had a lovely two week stay . The pool was fab and much needed as we were experiencing a bit of a heatwave even hotter then normal . Would definitely recommend this villa . Angela the host was very good at communicating and helped us out when needed as did William the property Manager.

Summary: The villa has a wonderful aspect. The sea views and sunsets are amazing. The pool was clean and the garden very pretty. Inside is modern and clean and well stocked. Nearby are lots of beaches and very good tavernas. All in all we had a great time.
