From the moment we arrived, Dennis and Jim made us feel completely at home. Each morning started with a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast—thoughtfully crafted with locally sourced ingredients and so full of flavor. It was clear they put a lot of care and love into every dish. Beyond the amazing food, the owners were a treasure trove of local knowledge. Their recommendations for nearby attractions, dining spots, and hidden gems were absolutely spot on and added so much to our trip. Thanks to their guidance, we were able to experience the area like a true local. The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and personal touches made this stay truly unforgettable. Summary: This was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Dennis and Jim were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house was just beautiful and we especially enjoyed the property. Sitting on the deck was relaxing and kayaking on the river was amazing. Breakfasts were delicious (Dennis was so thoughtful accommodating our vegan son), as was the coffee that was always prepared early enough so I could pour myself a cup before I went outside to watch the incredible sunrise. You won't regret booking a stay here.
