You may be familiar with terms like: ‘rare opportunity’ and ‘for the select few’ as a selling trick as they are used all the time to impress. By choosing our property you have a really rare opportunity to experience something positively different that most other travelers will surely miss on their Greek island holidays.
We are not talking for those properties for the vast majority of tourists, but a genuine villa house made of local stone, marble and the best quality of building material there is.
Enter Etoile De Mer villa. Staying here will be a unique experience.
Photos will only give you a small part of the whole picture in staying at this villa house, as most of the experience can’t be framed in a snapshot. The house offers complete privacy; it is built at an amphitheater-like style with breathtaking view to the Aegean sea having a hilly background that protects from the winds.
It consists of a main house with three independent elegant apartments that sits on a 5500 sq. m. plot. There is a superb 65 square meter "infinity" type swimming pool with variable depth of 60cm-250cm featuring great views from within the pool, towards the Aegean sea. There is also an outdoor shower, three external dining areas with pergolas, a BBQ and private parking .
The main house is air-conditioned, has one double bedroom and one double twin bedroom; the double bedroom comes with an en suite bathroom with shower. There is a second bathroom with bath tub. The rest of the main house consists of a spacious living room with a fireplace and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen.
The remaining part of the house consists of three elegant apartments independent from the main house that connect from the outside, all with their own separate entrance. All apartments consist of a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom with shower, a basic kitchenette and a living area. All the apartments are air-conditioned .
In two of the apartments there are two double couches that can be converted to two double beds bringing the maximum number of guests that can be accommodated to fourteen (14). Should you have infants with you, we can arrange for baby cots and high chairs.
The house will be delivered to you clean on your arrival and there will be another cleaning and change of linen and towels in the middle of the week.
The property manager of the house will be located just a few minutes away in case you need anything.
The ease of access to the villa makes it a great candidate for accommodation. Located in Palaiopolis area right in the middle of the island at an ideal spot for those wishing to explore it and practically close to everywhere: just a few minutes away by car from the nearest beach, a great place to stay at, if you come for relaxing, away from the noise of the village, but close enough to be able to find a grocery store in a 2-minute drive.
Just 15 minutes drive from the port of Gavrio, the main port of Andros island with frequent ferry boat schedules from / to Athens, just a short 2 hours trip and also from Mykonos an almost equal distance and travel time. With Athens and Mykonos International Airports at close distance from the ports you can schedule a relaxing trip and be here in no time at all no matter the time of season.
There will always be someone who will be waiting for you to arrive at the port and either escort you or show you the road to the property via "follow me".

Summary: Thank you Vana and family for letting us rent your beautiful house! We have rented several house in the past 6 years but this place is our favorite. Large enough to have your own space (9 adults and a child of 22 months) but with great common areas for meals and board games :) We have never had a more attentive host! Summary: Vana is a gracious and extremely helpful host. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. She has excellent food recommendations across the island. The house is wonderful and the view..... you will never want to leave. Even with the Meltemi winds wrecking havock on our beach and boating plans the patio was still a comfortable haven to enjoy the incredible views. It was perfect for our group of nine. Plenty of room to be together and apart. Can't wait to go back again!

Summary: The owners are so friendly and well organized. They built the place with relaxation in mind. The infinity pool and the view to the Aegean are dreamy indeed. Our group of four especially enjoyed the great open porch above the pool. We hiked on nearby well marked trails, went to different beaches, loved the tavernas in town. Andros is still rather wild. We enjoyed hearing the goats and roosters and cows nearby and especially loved the sound of the sea at night. The property is immaculately maintained and the rooms are simple and comfortable. 5 stars from us!

Summary: After a long day of travel, the prize is worth it. If you're looking for faults or negatives at Etoile de Mer, I doubt you'll find them. The house is incredible. Tastefully and sensitively designed, well-equipped with thoughtful attention to detail. The main part of the house has 2 bedrooms then 3 subtly separate 'suites'/rooms complete the 'hub'. Every room is en-suite and each faces the stunning views of the pool and beyond. It is expansive enough to find your own privacy.... It is clear how passionate the owners, Vana and Pavlos are about the welfare of their guests. Nothing seems too much trouble and they are very hands-on. The house is high up a hill so a lot of acceleration is required to get your car up! There are tiny geckos running in and out of the garden rocks and the sound of the cicades adds to the joy! The (fishing) village of Batsi is a short drive away as is a supermarket, butcher and baker. There are some waterside restaurants serving delicious food, fresh fish recommended. Vana will tell you everything you need to know. It's a challenge to leave this villa, however we suggest you enjoy its traquility (sometimes there's a strong bereeze) as well as exploring the island. The main town Andros (approx 45 minutes' drive) is charming and we found a fantastic beach at the end of a windy track called Zorkos. The water is warm! And there is a beach cafe plus a taverna. Car essential. A huge thank you for the hospitality shown to us all. A very special place....

Summary: This is one of the most beautiful homes I have ever stayed at. The natural beauty of the sweeping ocean view, sunsets, and swimming pool made this such a wonderful trip. The house itself is a beautiful design, and well laid out for a group with 3 separate apartments in addition to the main house. The house really exceeded our expectations all the way around. We love the sounds of cicadas singing and goats in the background. It is an easy drive to both Batsi and Andros (Chora) and surrounded by one beautiful beach after another. Vana and Pavlos were extremely helpful and warm, greeting us at the ferry when we picked up our rental car, and checking in with us several times to help navigate best restaurants and sites. We hope to return to this beautiful spot soon.

Summary: Kostas and Vana were impeccable hosts for our two week stay at Etoile De Mer Villa. They took their time showing us all the amenities of the home and made themselves available throughout our stay to answer questions about the house and island. The villa is nicely laid out to provide overall privacy from neighbors, but also each apartment is self-contained. The common areas are beautifully situated to allow for amazing views of the water and sunset. The outdoor grill and dining area made for a very memorable evening with our friends. Everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to pool towels to a stereo from which to play music from our phones, was provided. The washer and dryer was also a much appreciated convenience! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our vacation and would definitely stay there again!
