Olea Cottage, a recently renovated two store dwelling, is situated on a fertile slope full of olive trees and enjoys uninterrupted sea and sunset views. The beautiful natural surroundings and the close proximity to some of the main tourist spots like Batsi and to most of the nicest sandy beaches, make Olea Cottage the perfect base from which to explore the island of Andros.
Constructed exclusively with local rock, the house is perfectly integrated in the Mediterranean landscape and covers a total area of 110 s.m. in two independent floors, suitable for up to eight guests.
The upper lever features a dining area and a country style kitchen, a spacious sitting area with a traditional fireplace, a double bed bedroom and a bathroom. The two built in couches in the sitting are designed to serve also as single beds. The dining area opens up to a stone tiled shaded veranda which is the perfect spot for rest and relaxation during all hours of the day or night.
The independent lower level is accessible through an exterior staircase and encompasses two comfortable double bed bedrooms and a bathroom. A lower level front porch constitutes the ideal setting for guests to marvel at the panoramic sea vistas.

Summary: We really enjoyed staying there, the house is very nice and cozy, stylish and well equipped. The location is a plus on a hill but just some minutes away from a nice and quite beach and from the village. The view on the sea is amazing, we will never forget the stars we could see every night from there. The communication was always very easy and the owner is helpful and kind. We will definetly go back!

Summary: A really nice and also beautifully furnished house with sea view! I felt very comfortable, just the thing to relax! Upstairs there are two rooms with kitchen and bathroom. Downstairs there are also two rooms, the first is a passage room and the second has its own bathroom. It was perfect for us 5 people and on the terraces we sat together for hours, ate and played games ... of course we also enjoyed the sunset. The surroundings and the property are wonderful & reveal little secrets ... like the cow that was somewhere else every day :) There are many beautiful beaches on the island. We were lucky enough to discover a few. But for that you need a car. The beach near the house can be seen from the terrace ... but because of the topography it was about a 30 minute walk down. You can also go there by car, we just didn't feel like it. And I have to say a special thanks to the owner Costas as well. He was very pleasant, accommodating and genuinely interested in our well being. That made the stay even better. Many thanks for that!

Summary: This is a very beautiful place with an amazing terrace on which one can enjoy sunsets and the view on the sea. There is a very nice beach very close to the house, perfect for a morning swim or an evening swim during sunset. The owner of the house gave us a very warm welcome and gave us a lot of very nice (insider) tipps for the island. He shared the last figs of the season from his garden with us. The photos are very accurate. A car is pretty much a must to get a bit around. As Peter B. pointed out already, i also would say it's better to not be more than six people as one bed room can only be accessed via the other bed room. If we could, we would give the place six stars.

Summary: The cottage is just as good as it looks in the photos. Great views, a good location that is close to some excellent beaches and not far from a town with good food options. Our host (Kostas) was very friendly and helpful - brimming with enthusiasm for Andros and some very helpful views on highlights and suggestions. With good reason as Andros has good variety of beaches and walks, whilst still having the relaxation and charm that comes from not being too choc-a-block with tourists like us! And also very easily accessible from the mainland. Really enjoyed our stay. Just to be aware, the cottage would be a bit of a squeeze for more than 6 people. Two of the three double bedrooms are right next to each other, and two of the beds are singles in the living room. It suited us well as we were not max-ing out the capacity, but larger groups may prefer more space.
