Why You Should Stay The Sleep: The rooms are a perfect retreat, featuring a comfortable double bed, a sofa for lounging, and a dedicated desk. The Shower: Expect a fabulous, high-pressure shower—exactly what you need after a day of traveling. The Food: This isn't generic pub grub. The food is home-cooked, freshly prepared, and consistently excellent. Family & Location If the sun is out, the truly huge beer garden is the place to be, complete with a fantastic play area to keep the kids entertained while you relax. Logistically, it’s a breeze to get to. Situated within easy reach of both the A40 and M40, it serves as a perfect base for exploring Oxfordshire or a convenient, high-quality stopover. Positive: We absolutely loved the warm, homely feel of the England's Rose. It was definitely like being home from home. Being able to bring my very well behaved dog to stay with us was a massive plus too. The food was excellent and the staff was absolutely exceptional. We arrived as guests and left as friends. We will be back in the future!
Negative: Being from a very quiet village where there isn't much traffic, we did notice being so close to the motorway. However this didn't have any major negative effect on our stay at all.
