Positive: My stay was incredible! The owners are incredibly kind and the activities they offer are fantastic. Lost in nature, it's a haven of peace and tranquility. It was one of the best experiences of my trip to Vietnam.This homestay had been recommended to me many times and I understand why, I can only do the same!

Positive: Amy and her family take you out on an amazing adventure where you learn about Vietnamese culture and traditional ways of the south. The knowledge and richness we got in contact here was astonishing! And the way how all of this is also bundled in a beautiful book with the fitting title “Passing the fire from a mother’s kitchen”, is just sublime. If we ever have the chance, we will definitely go back and probably stay way longer!

Summary: Probably the best cultural experience we ever had!

Positive: The food was excellent. Local, fresh, natural, tasty and plenty of food. The host - Amy - also explained how she prepared the food and the culture behind the dishes. The environment was magical. An oasis of calm in the coconut forests (although the neighbors love their daily karaoke) 😂 This is what want a homestay should be if you are looking to de connect from the city and be immersed in nature and tranquility. Finally the boat tour was full on adventure. Pushed me out of my comfort zone and I'm very grateful for it ! Plus the cats there are adorable and love cuddles. The dog - Noddy - too but I'm a cat person. Perfect homestay experience 10/10.

Negative: Nothing. It's a homestay experience in nature so the toilets and showers will have some bugs. That's to be expected and not a minus. I actually found the toilets/showers surprisingly clean given that they are out in nature.

Positive: this is a phenomenal place to authentically experience a live off the land way of life, I learned a lot and loved spending time with the family and staff, they also were very helpful in assisting with the journey there and back, the food they make is delicious too!! This place was recommended to me by other travellers and I highly regard it too :)

Positive: Best place in Ben Tre. We have stayed in several guest houses in Ben Tre, they are very nice and pleasant. But the atmosphere here is perfect. We love it: we chose a tent, sleeping to the sounds of nature or rain is simply incredible! There is a toilet and shower nearby, and the tent has electricity. This is an immersion in nature, but at the same time with comfort. There is a large area where you can chat with people (backpackers from different countries often come here) - in the common area, this place is also good for working on a laptop. And if you need a place to get away from everyone and hide, then there are many such places here. There are coconut groves around. Local people work here and make beautiful things from coconut. We really liked the hosts, they are so nice, kind and modern. and if we find ourselves in Ben Tre again, it will definitely be here! We were on our motorbike and rode around a lot and this part of Ben Tre is the most beautiful! Rural roads are a delight for the eyes, ears and nose!

Positive: Best tour you can ever go to understand Mekong living. Rooms are definitely ecologically set up and as organic as you can imagine.

Negative: It was hot and airflow was bad in the room even with the fan on, I couldn't really sleep. Better to take a tent! ⛺
