Positive: Mekong Home is truly a little paradise! Nestled along the riverbank, the property is beautifully integrated with nature, offering an authentic local experience. As a family-owned business, it provides a warm, personal touch and the opportunity to connect with the local community. The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the food is simply delicious! All the guests were so happy, vibes were just amazing!

Positive: Before we even arrived our host had helped us organise bus travel from and back to HCMC. We were concerned because buses were busy due to the Tet festival. The bus company -Futabus - also lays on a shuttle service to and from Mekong Home at no extra charge. At Mekong Home the welcome was very warm and friendly. Before dinner on the first night we had a cookery class making rice milk/coconut milk pancakes. Dinner itself was amazing both nights. Breakfast was equally excellent - lots of homemade foods. There are lots of areas to relax, watch the sunset, stare at the river. They run a kind of honesty bar - get a beer from the fridge mark it on the sheet. Lovely pool which really blends into the surroundings. We did a lovely riverboat trip - saw some local industry. Also made good use of the free bicycles. Very easy cycling in the area - totally flat. Good 12km circular route which takes in 2 ferry crossings to and from an island on the river Sad to leave. All the staff were so lovely.

Positive: Mekong Home is great oasis located directly at the river! The property is beautifully designed and well maintened. Our room was very clean, had nice furniture and everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable. But the best was the hosting family :) Everybody was so friendly, attentive and warm, we felt really welcome. We even got a traditional cooking class for free, which was a great experience. The food was really fresh with great variations and tasted delicious. The hosts provide several tours, we did the halfday river and a bike tour, which were awesome. Thank you for everything, we will definitely come back :)

Negative: The property is a 40 minutes drive from Ben Tre City, but if you want to relax far from the buzzing cities, it's perfect. And a small thing: There are only 5 chairs (3 comfortable sunbeds) at the pool, which is a bit less for all the guests.
