Positive: A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience staying in the heart of the jungle. The location is stunning and the house itself is beautiful, with great kitchen amenities and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners and everyone who helped during our visit were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure we were well looked after. When a storm cancelled all boats and we unexpectedly had to extend our stay, they were so understanding and accommodated us for an extra night without any hassle, making a stressful situation much easier. Thank you again for such a wonderful and memorable stay.

Positive: If your looking for a jungle experience, thats the house to go for. the kitchen was well equipped, the personal was always available and helpful, the garden around the house is beautiful.

Negative: the bathroom attracts a lot of insects which can be challanging for people that are not used to insects or scared. the house is a bit far from restaurants, I recommend renting a scooter.

Summary: perfect for couples that want to have some privacy in the jungle.

Positive: 🌴 Absolutely stunning location nestled in lush tropical jungle with butterflies and little birds fluttering around - and complete privacy! 🍳 Fully equipped with all the essentials - complete kitchen setup with pots, utensils, and plenty of coffee 🍌 Thoughtful welcome with fresh local bananas, mangoes, and two large 10L (or more?) bottles of drinking water 🦟 Well-prepared for tropical living with mosquito coils, an insect racket, and protective netting 🏍️ The driveway is narrow - best accessed by tuk tuk or scooter (a car won’t fit, there’s a stone path with steps that requires carrying luggage) 😺 Charming resident cat Tiger that adds to the homey feel (he keeps to himself but also welcomes cuddles) 📱 Despite the secluded jungle setting, WiFi connection is great (you won’t have reception) 🕯️ While power outages occur throughout the island, the house is thoughtfully stocked with tea lights and torches (outages typically happen during daylight hours, while I experienced them in San Juan, I didn’t at Dalakit) 🏝️ The perfect balance of seclusion while being just 5 minutes from cafés, 12 minutes from Siquijor town, and 15 minutes from San Juan

Negative: Only suggestion - communication was occasionally delayed through Booking.com. It would be helpful if they provided a WhatsApp number for direct contact while staying.

Positive: Absolutely beautiful glass house in the jungle, the sounds of the jungle in the rain were beautiful, such a relaxing little self catering villa, no problems with frogs or insects - house cat sleeping on the porch appears to have solved this after reading previous reviews

Negative: Note it is quite remote so bring a scooter and food with you, some power outage on the evening as expected for the location - though only 15min drive from the port

Positive: I think this place is amazing if you need a few days rest from the hustle and bustle. It’s super peaceful and beautifully designed. We spent a lot of time hanging out in the front porch. There’s also a house cat, the sweetest cat ever that made the goodbye hard. The host is super communicative.

Negative: The location is very far out from everything. You definitely need a scooter to get to and from but even then the pathway to the accomodation from the main road is NOT friendly for scooters as it dips quite steep in some areas. If you don’t have much experience riding scooters please don’t try. Make sure to prepare and get groceries ahead of time.

Positive: I really love how the place made me feel. I felt relaxed and at peace. The scenery and quietness. The whole place and location is the perfect spot to disconnect and reconnect. The whole house was susceptible to everything you need like a kitchen, dining area, cozy space outside and Wi-Fi when you need it. I also didn't have a hard time with the scooter because you can use the concrete safe road from Siquijor town.
