Positive: Tranquility and relaxing. The breakfasts were amazing. We had been advised there were limited places for lunch or dinner and to bring supplies. What we did not expect was for Robbie to take the supplies and prepare dinner for us. That went beyond expectations.

Positive: Excellent location, just across the river. Convenient if you had a long drive. The breakfasts were incredibly delicious. Charmaine was extremely helpful, answered all of our questions, and offered tips. We only were there to sleep and eat since we had full days out exploring. It was a bit rainy so it was wonderful to have the big deck overhang. It was nice having the common area to store and heat food. This BNB was an incredible value compared to the other places in the area.

Negative: Charmaine was on her own and handled everything well. It was humid and difficult to sleep without AC, even with the fan. There was a young couple who were not aware of the thin walls and were talking noisily, late into the night. The bedrooms are close together and if you left doors open for air, you could easily hear everything. We did not sleep well. They are off the grid and I believe they generate all their own energy. The lighting was very dim, difficult to see. They were in the middle of remodeling the area where the hosts live and stairs.

Summary: Good value for simple accommodations, ecologically sustainable.

Positive: Outstanding property, cannot beat the views and tranquillity. The hosts are so lovely and do an amazing job at welcoming you and assisting to plan your days whilst in the Daintree.

Negative: Everything was wonderful. There are some road works at the moment that can take up to half an hour to pass.

Positive: The view from the balcony was spectacular. It was lovely to be able to sit on the balcony and chill. The hosts were friendly and the room was very comfortable. There was a common room available with a TV and a book library. The included cooked breakfast was delicious. There are three rooms available and it was nice to mingle with the other guests but you still had your own space. The yard was really lovely to walk around. The property is very self sufficient.

Negative: A luggage rack in the room would have been useful. There was no TV in the bedroom but that was not a big deal. Breakfast is at 8.30 am which we found a little late if you are planning on exploring.

Summary: A lovely place to stay in the Daintree.
