Positive: This place is absolutely stunning and perfect for couples. Although we didn't get to meet the cassowary, we had incredible evenings enjoying breathtaking views in a wonderfully secluded spot. It truly made our trip special.

Positive: We were so impressed with this off the grid lodge on the middle of the Daintree. The property was stunningly beautiful and the owners put so much care into making sure we had a wonderful time. The kitchen had everything you needed and we felt like we were at home

Positive: Such a beautiful location- sea views, and surrounded by lush vegetation and wildlife. The house is made of stone and timber, so feels part of the environment with a few quirky design touches.

Negative: Nothing- but I should mention that the property would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems, as there are steep stairs to the bedroom, and uneven surfaces around the house.

Summary: A lovely off- grid experience surrounded by nature.

Positive: Such a beautiful and tranquil location and gorgeous house. Lovely to have the place and area to ourselves, wonderfully private for a lovely getaway. Everything you needed for cooking and the most stunning bathroom and outlook and comfy bed. As mentioned by others, the bedroom is up a set of steep stairs, so you do need to be mindful. Would return in a heartbeat. Communication with the owner was easy and friendly.

Negative: As it is off grid, I was not allowed to use a hairdryer. A sticker on which is hot and cold water in the shower would have been helpful but I got there in the end. Some more towels too as 1 each is not enough.
