Positive: The fire pit. The location. The cleanliness. The cabin itself was very spacious. Plenty of room for a 4-5 person stay.

Negative: I wished the beavers hadn’t have damned up the lake. We could have utilized our canoe. But all that is Mother Nature. So all in all it was great!

Summary: We will definitely be back! It was affordable and the owners were wonderful!

Positive: The home was fairly new and was the perfect amount of space for a quick getaway for my family. It was a very cute cottage style home in a nice setting, close to Helen, GA as well as to an event we had to attend in a neighboring town.

Negative: The lake pictured in the photos and on the listing title is inaccessible. There are thick woods and brush covering the lake so that there is no view or access of the waterfront. Driveway is steep but to be expected in a mountainous area. The beds are quite uncomfortable. One is a fold out bed, but even the master bedroom bed had a thin foam mattress which did not provide much comfort. Overall the cottage was clean, but could use a deep cleaning including for dusty baseboards and windowsills; when you are paying a cleaning fee, you expect attention to these details.

Summary: Overall nice, no fishing lake visible or accessible
