Beautifully updated beginning in 2006 and ongoing , this classic apartment on a leafy street in the heart of the much sought-after and very central Palermo neighborhood offers the perfect location for visitors who really want to know the city. It provides easy access to both shopping & cultural activities as well as to the many amenities & parks of Palermo (Soho, Hollywood, Viejo & Chico) and Recoleta.
Located on the third floor of a classic, 'rationalist' building constructed during the rule of Juan & Eva Peron, this beautiful apartment has been wonderfully updated with designer touches throughout. This condo offers two large bedrooms, living and dining rooms open to one another, a third smaller bedroom known as a ‘dependencia,’ a full kitchen, one & three-quarters baths and a balcony with table and chairs to soak up great morning sun. All the day rooms and the larger bedrooms have great light. One will never feel cramped as the apartment occupies its own floor and has approximately 950 square feet (92 square meters).
This is an ideal location. It's a perfect spot for anyone wanting to explore the Buenos Aires of Borges on foot. The apartment is located a in a very safe neighborhood just a block and a half from both Las Heras Park and Shopping Alto Palermo (shopping mall), four blocks from the botanical gardens and easy walking distance to the zoo and the extensive Palermo parks system. Within two blocks there are many fine restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, fruit/vegetable markets, pharmacies and eight movie screens. In addition, it is about a ten minute walk through elegant sections of Palermo and Recoleta to Recoleta cemetery and the Buenos Aires Design Center. It is also about a 10 minute walk to the heart of Palermo Viejo (aka Palermo Soho) and then on to 'Palermo Hollywood,' centers of hip shopping & nightlife. The 'D' line of the Subte (the city’s subway system), located just two blocks away, can whisk you to Teatro Colon in seven minutes and to Plaza de Mayo and the Casa Rosada in ten. And taxis are never hard to find. The Eva Peron Museum, the Decorative Arts Museum, MALBA, and several other museums are all short walks. And for those interested in what's known as 'health tourism' numerous of the city's many fine clinics are located nearby.

The apartment is equipped with digital cable, high-speed Internet access, Wi-fi, a printer/scanner/fax and an Internet telephone with free long distance to the US, Canada, UK, France, Ireland, Italy & Spain. One of the large bedrooms has a second television available. You will never feel cramped here because the rooms are large and the ceilings high--10 ft (3 meters). Summary: We stayed here for 11 nights in April. Location is fantastic in a residential area 1 street from a major subway line and major bus lines on Santa Fe Avenue. We very much enjoyed our stay here. In the area were supermarkets, corner stores, restaurants, cafes, malls, and lots of parks. Palermo Soho where major parrillas are located as well as bars and clubs is only a 10-15 minute walk away. The apartment is very user friendly and comfortable. Everything works and everything you need is contained inside. Also the apartment is very secure and the area is very safe. When you book please ask that the apartment be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival. We absolutely would stay in this apartment again.

Summary: We couldn't have been happier with this well-located apartment in Palermo, near cafés, restaurants, bars, and parks, including the Botanical Garden. We enjoyed having coffee or wine on the little balcony and watching the life of the neighborhood below. The rooms were comfortable and clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. This was the perfect base for our forays into the city. Great stay!

Summary: An attractive, comfortable property. Good beds and long distance to US and Canada was a bonus (as was Netflix). The building was secure but be careful negotiating the sidewalks - lovely old trees whose roots have broken the tiles and make walking treacherous. Also beware dog poo. This is an incredibly dog-friendly area and there are lots of them barking. The owner was very responsive to questions and had a book with useful information. He also provided adapters that made it convenient to charge North American phones and tablets. The place is close to parks, shopping, grocery stores and the subway, and taxis are not expensive in BA. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: Our family of 4 (My husband & I, along with our 9 & 12 year old boys) loved our stay of 4 weeks in Nov/Dec 2017 in this "Comfy" Palermo Apartment! The owners of this adorable apartment (and the Apartment manager, Martin) have gone out of their way to make sure their guests have a great stay. They spent quality time to make sure that we had all that we needed in the apartment, as well as, a notebook filled with their favorite things to do in the city - which I have to say rivals the guide books available - such a nice touch! The Apartment feels much larger than it actually is - plenty of room for a family of 4 to stretch out and relax. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need (fully stocked), and the office is setup with a VOIP phone & printer. The neighborhood is great, too. There is a subway stop and a large mall just a couple of blocks away, There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, parks, and groceries within a few blocks, as well. We loved our stay, and we would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This apartment is conveniently located in Palermo, near Recoleta. The neighborhood is fairly quiet with a grocery store and various other restaurants and shops a short walk away. The apartment itself is well taken care of and pretty spacious. In my opinion, it should be advertised as a 2 bedroom or at best 2.5 bedroom. The wifi only works well if you are in the bedroom where the router is located, if you want to use it out in the living or dining room, it does not really work. Martin was very thorough in walking us through all the details. The kitchen is well stock with all the appliances and cooking supplies you need. The washing machine was nice to have as well!
