Positive: The heart and soul of Chobe House is the staff. We started off with a warm welcome from Twinkle, to a lovely check in with IK and then Thato looked after us through the evenings. We woke up to a live NatGeo Wild kind of a game drive in the Chobe National Park with Charles. A knowledgeable, patient, friendly and passionate 5-Star guide. Beside the staff what’s more you may wonder. Chobe house is located right on the banks of Chobe River and still close to all supermarkets and restaurants. At Chobe house you will have comfortable bed, good WiFi, aircon and breath taking view of the Chobe River from the Boat House. Our whole stay’s highlight is the staff. Not only do they offer exceptional service; they are readily available whenever you need them for anything, literally. Our send off was as warm as the welcoming. After an informative chat on photography with IK and Phenyo we left Chobe House sure that we will definitely be back again. What a magical time we had!

Positive: The staff made us feel like we were right at home, every single one of them🤎. The food was delicious, We enjoyed the boat cruise with Phenyo so much as well as the game drive.

Positive: You could see this as a hyper modern architectural dream or a large concrete garage facing a back road - up to your taste!

Negative: Expected it to be more open towards the river, but you can access the river boat though. The concrete walls gave a damp feeling and the floors got sticky in the heat. The terrace feels very enclosed. There’s a huge beautiful villa in front of the river, which you don’t have access too, so the chalets feel a bit cramped up in the front yard.

Positive: Bradley and the team at Chobe House was absolutely magic! They went above and beyond to meet our requests and by that also our expectations. Our family celebrated my 40th birthday at this beautiful place and it was definitely a holiday to remember. This 'villa family' is a beautiful example of kindness, generosity and passion and we are so grateful to have been able to experience and be part of this magic for a little while. Can't wait to return and enjoy African hospitality at it's absolute best!

Positive: We stayed in the Chalet’s and they were so clean, lovely and well equipped! The bed was amazing with pristine linen. During our stay, there were guests in the Villa we didn’t have access to the pool. It wasn’t clear when I initially booked that the pool was only for the main villa so just to be aware of that. The team were lovely and excellent hosts - Tshiamo, Phenyo and Kgalalelo really took great care of us! We went with the private chef option. Whilst it’s convenient, and the food was tasty, for the fee and description of private chef, we expected a more private and personalised offering.

Positive: Very comfortable spacious chalets with a modern design. The outside sitting area is cozy and one can grill. Good to know is that the main house facilities are separated from chalets and not accessible when a chalet is booked. The property informed us about this ahead of time.
