Positive: Location was perfect for exploring Ouray and the Black Canyon. The room wasn't huge but we didn't spend a ton of time in the room. We had a nice balcony and the view was outstanding. Breakfast was good, made fresh each morning. It was a burrito or sandwich and fruit or yogurt. Breakfast area with a microwave, tea, coffee and hot chocolate were available 24/7.

Negative: There wasn't an elevator, which was not a make or break deal, but would have been nice to know in advance. The shower pressure was terrible. I realize we need to conserve water but it was impossible to get shampoo out of my hair. I would have preferred a smaller shower head with more direct stream than a giant shower head with minimal pressure.

Summary: Perfect jumping off spot for exploring.

Positive: We loved the hot tub on our balcony and the large room , which was comfortable and had a great view of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great and it was very good value for money. Would book here again.

Positive: Relaxing southwestern vibe, peaceful setting in lovely town of Ridgway. Great staff, breakfast, comfy king room with view of park, recently all new carpet and fresh paint. Would gladly recommend and stay again.

Positive: This hotel is exceptionally guest-oriented, with every detail thoughtfully considered. We received thorough and helpful information both before our arrival and throughout our stay. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. Even though we booked at the last minute, we felt the experience was well worth the value. Highly recommended!

Negative: Hallway can get a little noise as doors face atrium and ours near stairs. But not a big deal.
