Ridgway riverfront trails are within walking or riding distance, as is the quaint town of Ridgway. The fun Ridgway area mountain biking trails are within a 5 minute drive, or a 20 minute bike ride (open May - December). The beauty of the San Juan mountains is outside the front door. Ouray is a short 20 minute drive and the Telluride ski area is 45 minutes away. Orvis Hot Springs are a short 10 minute drive and it is about the same distance to the Ridgway reservoir. Summary: Had a wonderful time in Ridgway and at Kim’s property! Everything was as described, if not better. The house was lovely, clean, quiet, and bright, and I loved having a space to do some work during the day in the office/second bedroom (with excellent views to boot!). Would absolutely stay again.
