Negative: one big minus is the smell in the building from the two adjacent restaurants. It is extremely unpleasant. Not unexpectely the noice from the straat is loud, but not too bad.

Positive: Wonderful location in the very centre of Brussels. Spacious for one person, fine for two. Essential facilities and equipment available. Shops, restaurants, transport in the neighborhood. A very reasonable price considering the location and Brussels prices. Good value

Negative: It is a rather basic setting, no complaints. One has to accept the life dynamics related to the touristy centre. A staircase might be demanding with larger luggage. But these are minor issues.

Positive: The location is fantastic, great communication from the host, easy check in. Obviously if you’re going to stop in the heart of Brussels it’s going to be an old building, but so what? It had everything we needed and the location is superb, good value.

Negative: It’s not a ‘didn’t like’, more of a temper your expectations, it’s an old building so expect it to be so.
