Positive: The chateau is set in an unbelievably beautiful botanic park. This is landscaping on an epic scale, perhaps the best we have seen. Relaxing and calm. Welcoming, informal staff. Super breakfast.

Positive: The botanical gardens are just amazing and the main draw for staying here. The staff are outstanding and the breakfast was lovely!

Negative: Pillows on the beds were not soft and plushy.

Positive: This unique destination is a place to relax in superb surroundings, with a huge park to explore, charming people and a great restaurant. It deserves to be better known, and is a tribute to Alain Juono, who brought it back from the dead and transformed it into a one of the nicest places to visit in this part of Brittany.
