Charming apartment of 60 square meters with exposed beams on the top floor of a building in behind the Magistrates Orseolo Basin and only 20 meters from Piazza San Marco. Completely renovated in 2011 and furnished with taste and refinement with modern furniture combined with precious antiques.
Although central, is located in a very quiet and secluded courtyard. From the windows of the living room magnificent view of the bell tower of San Marco and the roofs of Venice.
The house consists of entrance hall, kitchen with table for 4 persons, living room with sofa and two armchairs bed, double bedroom with skylight, bathroom with tub and shower.
Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, toaster. Heating.
In the living room television, art books on Venice, board games, wifi.
Actually located just 20 meters from the magnificent Piazza San Marco: you just have to cross the Ponte dei Dai which is next to the famous Caffè Quadri.
The Rialto Bridge is only 10 minutes walk from the house. Here is the famous fish market and fruit which they can truly savor the authentic atmosphere of Venetian life.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay in this apartment, located very close to Piazza San Marco. Be prepared for 5th floor walk-up, but it is worth it. Very clean, modern, comfortable beds, very effective air conditioning and wifi. Easy contactless check-in, but attentive and helpful host.

Summary: Property was perfect for touring Venice. Access to everything by walking. The place was clean and the air conditioning was the best. The apartment is the penthouse so there is a few steps but well worth the walk.

Summary: We had such a great stay. The appartment is very beautifully decorated, sparkling clean, with comfortable beds and in a great location very close to Saint Mark square. Lidia was in communication with us, providing detailed direction and ensued all our questions were answered

Summary: Dark apartment, with many many stairs. No view. Location is perfect so if you’re going to be out all day long then this will work for you but if you would like to have a view and some lighting I wouldn’t recommend it. Also many many stairs difficult caring the luggage up . The owner sent someone to meet us on the water taxi stop and she showed us to the home so that was very nice. And the owner is very very nice and answered all emails promptly.

Summary: Three of us stayed in this apartment for 3 nights in June - it was a perfect place to stay - we wish we could have stayed longer. Lidia was a great host - she was quick to respond to requests, and helped with travel suggestions ( train connections to Venice from Lucca). Lidia met us at the water ferry ( Vaporetto), even after train delay. The location of this apartment is wonderful - right above a canal and near San Marco Square. We could walk everywhere around the island and take the Vaporetto as often as we wanted ( had a 72 hour pass - the two college students were able to get great discount by buying the Rolling Venice card!). Staying right next to San Marco Square means you can really feel a part of life in Venice. This air-conditioned apartment has 1 large bedroom, great bathroom, kitchen with dining table, and nice living room with chairs that fold down for extra bed if needed. It is nicely decorated and with windows looking over the canal ( we took a Gondola one afternoon right by the apartment - perfect). The apartment looks just like the photos I will definitely stay here again if it’s available whenever I can return to Venice and I wholeheartedly recommend this place to fellow travelers. Thank you Lidia for renting this charming apartment in the perfect location in Venice.

Summary: From the outside, like lots of the other houses, it did not look very impressive but once inside it was up to date and very modern. Biggest draw back was the five flights of stairs which we had not realised about. Description did say top floor but not how many floors.
