Summary: High quality hotel, right on the edge of Ponta da Piedade broad walk. Would have been a 5-star review but for the pet policy. Our waterfront view room was lovely, easily big enough for the king sized bed. Good bathroom with separate bath and shower (bath separated from bedroom with a glass window and blind for privacy or exhibition). Large patio has ample space for two sun chairs, small table and two chairs. The resort advertises itself as pet friendly, but the hotel is not. You effectively cannot bring your dog into the hotel itself, pool areas, outdoor dining areas, etc. You can have your pet in one of their town houses and exercise them on the resort streets and open spaces but not within the hotel proper. Because our dog was unsettled with all the travel, we couldn't leave him alone, which prevented us from using any of the resort's amenitites which was very frustrating for a "pet-friendly" resort. Breakfast was very good (went solo), room service came as ordered (medium rare and hot)

Summary: Inital room was very dark due to covered outside space. We moved after 1 night as had ants. 2nd room was much better. All the dtaff were great especially in the bars and restsurant. Would recommend the Senses restaurant. The pools are a bit cold and was dusappointing that the beach pool bar was closed our entire stay.

Summary: The place is just meh. It’s not a 5 star hotel by any means. Everything is just ok. The location and views are incredible so if that’s what you’re looking for you’ll be fine. It’s not a bad hotel, but it’s not great either.

Summary: The resort was very nice. It was not as convenient and as fancy as described. The grounds were not as lush as shown on the website. The pool was great, the spa was excellent. It is not on the beach.

Summary: Gorgeous hotel. Excellent facilities. Had a fabulous massage at the spa. Food ok, not quite 5* in my opinion, but ok. Pretty far away from Lagos and its beaches, car or Uber required but that was fine for us

Summary: The hotel property was conveniently located along a walking trail to Ponta de Piedade which was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Only a few odds and ends with the room - our A/C did not work for two of the three nights (filter needed to be changed and wasn’t until we notified the sfaff), and both showers had malfunction (one flooded the bathroom, the other fluctuated in temperature between freezing cold and scalding hot). Otherwise we had a great stay.

Summary: Loved our stay! It was just what I was looking for. Quiet luxury, not pretentious but inviting, lovely amenities, staff and very well equipped apartments. My only minor complaint was there was a lot of construction nearby which was off putting at the sandy pool but it wasn’t very intrusive couldn’t be hard at the other pools

Summary: This hotel is expensive. Extremely. Drinks are expensive, food is expensive, and that’s fine. However, our A/C turned itself off every 20 minutes. This issue remained unresolved during our 3 night stay. It made for uncomfortable and troubled sleep. For such a pricey hotel, I would expect a working A/C in July. We had great conversations with Carlos, a bartender, and that was the highlight of the property. That being said, I would not stay here again. It does not have an accessible beach and is not walkable to town if you have trouble climbing hills. Additionally, they will not arrange a cab for you if you ask. I would try to find something more accommodating in the Algarve next time.
