Charming and bright apartment of 100m2 quietly located in the residential area of the Lagos Marina in the Algarve in southern Portugal.
Fully equipped and comfortable, it is close to all the entertainment and amenities.
This apartment is ideal for 4 or 5 people.
It includes 2 bedrooms including a master suite (double bed) with bathroom and a bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom apart.
The kitchen is fully equipped (microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, coffee machine, teapot, toaster ...)
The living room has 2 sofas including a convertible double bed with a large TV that has satellite.
The terrace allows you to enjoy meals in peace and cool.
The rental also has free Wi-Fi fiber optic very high speed.
The apartment is cleaned and prepared for your arrival, with fresh linen and towels. A representative who manages the apartment for us will welcome you on your arrival if necessary, and will be reachable throughout your stay in case you have questions or need help.
The Marina complex has several restaurants, bars, shops, a public playground, and a pool with a spa (paid access once on site), and is conveniently located just minutes from downtown (10 min to walk), beaches 10 min), train (5 min) and bus stations as well as a supermarket (5min). Still, it's just far enough to feel peaceful even at the height of summer.
Lagos is a charming old town with a rich history, cobbled streets and picturesque squares, and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve. There are dozens of restaurants to choose from and just about every activity you can think of offering, explore the beaches by canoeing, visit the Lagos Zoo, 3 golf courses to choose from, and if you fancy explore further, the beautiful and wild west coast with its secret beaches are about a half-hour walk from the Marina.
The variety of choices and activities are endless.
For evenings, there is nothing better than going for a walk in the center of Lagos on the cobbled streets with pleasant shops, restaurants and bars of all kinds and a very affordable price for every budget. Most bars have live music in the evening, as well as varied street entertainment.
As for convenience, the Lagos train station in Portugal is less than 300m away.
Faro Airport is 75 km (55 min).
Bus stops and taxis are accessible in front of the Marina at 800m walk from the apartment.

Summary: The property was perfect for our family of four. Very clean and well supplied and in a great location - just a short walk into the old town and to the beach. We had a car and parking was free and just across the street. Anthony welcomed us in and showed us the apartment and provided some excellent restaurant recommendations. We had a great time and would love to come back.

Summary: We come to Lagos 3 to 4 times a year to see family and in 5 years of doing so this is the best apartment we have stayed in. All other places have some drawback (especially the beds) but this apartment was perfect in every way. Spotlessly clean, comfortable with a well equipped kitchen for people who like to cook.The location is great and the use of the pool is the icing on the top of an already excellent cake.We were met by a very friendly host who showed us everything we needed to know, Anthony was extremely gracious even though we arrived considerably later than we expected to. He was communicative and available throughout our stay.Absolutely perfect, thank you.

Summary: This is our second time staying in the marina area and we loved it. The apartment was great. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Balcony was great out door space and quiet. Parking was across the street and always had spots. Easy access out of town with very little traffic. Walking distance to everything in Lagos including train station, beach, groceries, restaurants and bars. Communications was easy with Anthony and he gave us great advice. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Our stay in Lagos was great! The amenities provided at the apartment suited the needs of our vacation and the location was perfect. It was very close to the marina where many of our excursions departed and just a short walk across the bridge from the downtown area. We very much enjoyed our stay with ample room for 4 and if needed more. We would stay again if returning to Lagos.

Summary: Joaquim was a great host and excellent communicator. His son Anthony met us at the place and gave us a walk through and some recommendations for the area. We went to Casinha do Petisco for the Cataplana and it was unreal good. If you need to wait, do it!! Only small thing was that one of the single beds was a bit hard, but we there was lots of bedding to spruce up the comfort level. I would recommend Joaquim's place for sure!!

Summary: The property was convenient to everything we needed. Bus; marina; restaurants; grocery store etc. There was just about everthing you'd need in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The internet was great. The bath towels were clean and fluffy. The only thing we felt that was missing were beach towels. Highly recommend!!
