Positive: We stayed at the Gemma Apartment and the apartment has a good view of the swimming pool. The accommodation is located at a small village near Siena. It was relatively quiet at night. Each room had an aircon, which was very helpful during the hot days. We had everything we needed in the apartment, the kitchen was nicely equipped with a dish washer and washing machine. You need to provide your own washing tablets and detergent like other Agriturimoso, we had no issues with this. There were tables to enjoy dinner and sunset right next to the apartment. The kids absolutely loved the swimming pool (swimming caps were required). There were also a slide and swings for the kids. The beds were comfortable. Serena was very kind and easy to deal with. She responded to our queries promptly.

Negative: Unfortunately, mosquitoes are everywhere in the Tuscany region. We used lots of insect repellent. Serena kindly provided mosquito coins for outdoor use.

Positive: The house is very cute . Charming garden . The pool and the pool area are great . Kitchen has everything you can think of. Very clean.

Negative: BUT the sound proof in the house is ZERO. Very noisy . You can hear everything people on the left and upstairs are doing, even how they use the toilet . Very annoyng . Also if your windows are open your neighbors can become quite noisy especially if it’s a family with little kids or dogs . Moreover for some reason the owners put other people’s table directly under your windows , so if they eat and talk , but you wanted to rest - bad luck :( actually works the other way around - you neighbors can hear everything you do It’s great if you rent entire house with you family but if you want a quiet place and relaxation, think twice . Another but minor thing : we did not have WiFi working in the bedroom. We told the hostess many times, but they did not do anything our entire stay to fix. Also , if you don’t have a car , this place is not for you . Far from everything .

Summary: Perfect for a big family , but noisy to share . Very remote , but not a country side.

Positive: Very peaceful Lovely pool and terrace. Unfortunately we couldn't use it as often as we would have liked . We had some rain and it was a little chilly for part of our stay. 4 apartments within the villa we stayed in a one bedroom and the size was perfectly adequate.

Negative: A little isolated further out of Sienna than we anticipated approx 4miles by car the road to Sienna very busy . No bus after 20..30 The nearest supermarket about 15mins by car a busy road and a few roundabouts to navigate.

Positive: Lovely host. Very accomodating.

Negative: The sleeping quarters were really only for a couple. We were to friends, so one slept on the sofa in the kitchen. Without a car it was too far from the center of town.

Summary: With a car, I would stay there with my spouse.
