Everything you might want – grocery store, restaurants, bars, artisan shops – is within easy walking distance in our typical characteristic neighborhood. Piazza del Campo, the most famous square of Siena and site of the biannual Palio horse race is a mere five-minute walk while the Duomo is two-minutes away.
Siena, in the heart of Tuscany is the best place to use as a base for exploring the surrounding areas. There are local busses to all the characteristic places nearby, such as San Gimignano, Montalcino, Pienza, San Quirico d'Orcia and Asciano, just to name a few!
Our property was built in the 14th century and Buonsignori Apartment is on the second floor.. (Owners live on the third and fourth floors.) The small entrance way leads to the open-plan living/dining room. There is a modern kitchen with stove top cooking, oven, and all the necessary cutlery. The windows face the Via San Pietro and the Pinacoteca National museum from which you can watch the Palio parade in the comfort of your living room.
The ceiling is typical historic wooden beams.
The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and an antique carved wooden closet. Large, modern bathroom is accessible from the bedroom. An outside courtyard is off this bedroom for relaxing in the quiet heart of Siena.

Summary: Perfect stay in the heart of Siena. Great apartment with everything we needed. Bed is A comfortable and we felt right at home. Food was just steps away from the front door and was easy to navigate. Hosts were extremely communicative and checked in on us as well. Highly recommend.

Summary: Charming apartment in the center medical part of Siena. Just around to block from the big square. Great coffee shop right downstairs. The bed ice very comfortable. The hosts were terrific. This is THE place to stay in Siena!

Summary: We spent two days in Siena, staying in this lovely apartment in a fabulous location. You can step out the door and walk for hours, it’s close to all the major attractions! Local coffee shops were steps away for breakfast and there are some lovely places for dinner in the vicinity. Kathleen was a helpful and gracious host. We would definitely return here.

Summary: Amazing location, the highest spot in Siena. Easy to get to all the best locations. Apt is very comfortable and spacious. The host are super accommodating and easy to get ahold of. The host even offered to take us on a tour of their family garden.
